These terms govern your use of FirstDollar (myfirstdollar.site), operated by Michele Fontanella, Italy ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the service you accept these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

1. The service

FirstDollar reads, with your explicit authorization, the payment history of your Stripe account, locates the first successful charge, disconnects immediately, and issues a commemorative digital certificate of that first payment. Premium certificates add an official number, a public verification page with QR code, personalisation (name, subtitle, logo) and a print-ready PDF.

2. Accounts

• You need an account to create certificates. You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account.
• You must be at least 16 and authorised to act for the business whose Stripe account you connect. Connect only Stripe accounts you own or are authorised to manage.

3. Stripe connection

• The connection uses Stripe's official OAuth flow; we never see your password or API keys.
• We only read payment data; we never move money or modify anything in your account.
• The authorization is revoked automatically right after your first charge is located. You can also revoke it anytime from your Stripe Dashboard (Settings → Authorized applications).
• FirstDollar is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Stripe, Inc. "Stripe" is a trademark of Stripe, Inc.

4. Free and premium certificates

• The free certificate is a preview and carries a "Created With" credit line.
• The premium upgrade is a one-time payment (price shown at checkout, processed by Stripe). It unlocks, for that certificate: numbering, public QR verification, personalisation and the printable PDF, yours forever.
• Prices may change for future purchases; taxes may apply depending on your country.

5. Digital delivery and withdrawal

The premium certificate is digital content delivered immediately after payment. By purchasing, you expressly consent to immediate delivery and acknowledge that, once delivered, the EU 14-day right of withdrawal no longer applies (art. 16(m), Directive 2011/83/EU). 6. Certificates are commemorative

A certificate documents, in good faith, the first successful charge read from your payment provider at the time of issuance. It is a commemorative and marketing item — not a financial, accounting, tax or legal document, and not proof of revenue or business performance.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the name, subtitle and logo you add. You grant us a non-exclusive licence to store and display them as part of your certificate, including on its public share and verification pages if you share them. You warrant your content does not infringe third-party rights and is not unlawful, offensive or misleading. We may remove content that violates this.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service — including attempting to access others' data, forging certificates, connecting Stripe accounts you are not authorised to manage, scraping, or disrupting the service.

9. Intellectual property

The service, its design and its code are our property or licensed to us. These terms grant you no rights other than using the service and your certificates.

Some certificate background artwork comes from the Pixabay community and is used, in modified and composed form, under the Pixabay Content License (attribution not required — but appreciated, so: thank you, Pixabay authors). Backgrounds are provided only as part of a certificate and may not be extracted or redistributed on a standalone basis.

10. Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or the mandatory rights you hold as a consumer.

11. Termination

You can stop using the service and request deletion of your account and data at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

12. Changes

We may update these terms; the date above reflects the latest version. Material changes will be announced on the site. Continued use after changes means acceptance.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by Italian law. Consumer disputes may be brought before the courts of your place of residence where the law so provides. EU consumers may also use the EU online dispute resolution platform.
